John Cobley was born 30 Nov 1915 and was a miner for a good part of his life living in Gilfach, Nr Bargoed, Glamorgan. His body was interred in St Cattwgs church, Gelligaer. He married Muriel Dorid Thorley, born 1915, who was also buried in St Cattwgs church.
John and Muriel had the following children :
John Eric Cobley. He married twice, his first wife was Nancy C Iles. John died about Oct 1993 and he was buried in St Cattwgs church, Gelligaer.
Brian W Cobley. Brian died in a tragic accident in 1949.
